BA approves solarization and electricity theft prevention act 2025

Balochistan Assembly met under chair of Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai on Tuesday and approved Agricultural Solarization and Prevention of Electricity Theft Act 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The session began with a 15-minute delay. During the start of the session Fatiha was recited for those martyred in terrorist incidents. 

Later MPA Farah Azeem Shah presented Agricultural Solarization and Prevention of Electricity Theft Act 2025 which was approved by the majority. 

To a question about Green Bus Service in Quetta, Balochistan assembly members were briefed that the bus service project will facilitate 8,000 people daily. He added that the government was offering a subsidy of Rs 130 million to support green bus service. 

He also mentioned that Quetta is currently earning Rs 140 million in revenue from the Green Bus Service, which is expected to rise to Rs 270 million.  More green buses will soon be added to routes in Quetta and Turbat.
