The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Airport Security Force (ASF) in a joint raid foiled an attempt to smuggle nearly two kilograms of heroin from Islamabad Airport on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The authorities have registered an FIR against accused Adil Khan as per the Anti-Narcotics Act. The accused wanted to smuggle the 1.8kg drug to the Saudi capital of Riyadh via PK-9753 flight.

The heroin was hidden secretly inside the cutting board in the accused’s luggage but it was exposed during the screening process.
