People to get good news when march will overwhelm Islamabad: Bilawal

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday said that people would get a good news with the arrival of PPP’s long march in Islamabad.

In an interview to 24NewsHD TV channel in Rahim Yar Khan, the PPP chairman said that Prime Minister Imran Khan reduced the prices of petrol and electricity under the fear of PPP’s long march. “We want free and fair elections so that people could transparently elect their representatives,” he said and added that the people of Rahim Yar Khan accorded a historic welcome to the PPP’s long march.

“We are raising voice against public problems including inflation and unemployment. We are protesting against the government, and our destination is Islamabad,” he stated.

“We are trying our best to remove this incompetent and illegitimate government through a democratic way. So far our journey has been a success,” he claimed.

“Our long march is gaining strength with each passing day as none of the participants is leaving it. Our march is passing through the strongholds of all the political parties. We are so far successful in our policy and political strategy,” he maintained.

“Other political parties also supported the PPP when it announced to table a non-confidence motion against the government,” Bilawal said and added: “Success will be ours if work together. The PPP has long been working on the no-confidence motion plan.”

He also maintained: “When we will table the non-confidence motion in the Parliament, the whole world will see who sides with the ‘selected’ government and who supports the elected people.”

Earlier in a statement, Bilawal Bhutto has maintained that the PML-Q would not vote in favour of the Opposition’s no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan “for free” until they made it a lucrative offer.

Bilawal also said his party might opt to vote for Shehbaz Sharif for the slot of prime ministership.
