Several people were injured in a pile-up of vehicles on Motorway after the passageway was darkened by the smoke billowing out of burning wheat stubble nearby, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Five cars collided with one another on Motorway 2 near Kot Pindi Das, causing injuries to several people. Condition of two of the wounded were stated to be very serious, said the Rescue 1122 officials.

The burning of the wheat stubble along the Motorway darkened the highway reducing the visibility to almost zero which caused the horrible accident.
