Famous comedian of Bollywood and producer of Tamil films Manobala passed away, 24News HD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to Indian media reports, the director, producer and comedian Manobala associated with the South Indian film industry died at the age of 69.

Senior actor Rajinikanth confirmed the death of comedian Manu Bala via his Twitter account on Wednesday. 

It should be noted that Manobala thoroughly enjoyed the audience with his unique voice and sense of humour.

Manobala, who started his career as an assistant to noted filmmaker Bharathi Raja, acted in nearly 700 films and directed 40 films and also produced a few films.

His memorable Tamil films are included Sethu and Chakra.
