People expressed anger over the viral dance shoot of a newly-wed bride in the courtyard of the shrine of Baba Farid Ganjshakar, Pakpattan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the shoot of the bride and her better half continued in different sections of the shrine for an hour.

Three police officials including an inspector were suspended whose negligence caused the sanctity of the shrine to be violated.

A case was also registered against the couple and the cameraman.

A CCTV footage of the shoot had been uploaded on social media which caused the police to spring into action following a backlash by the netizens.

On the other hand, the Auqaf authorities suspended a watchman to protect senior officers.
