PSL 11 final begins with colourful ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

The final of Pakistan Super League Season 11 started on Sunday evening with a grand and colourful closing ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore where a large number of fans gathered to watch both entertainment and the big cricket match, 24NewsHD TV reported.

A large number of fans filled the stadium hours before the final between Peshawar Zalmi and Hyderabad Kingsmen, as excitement built for what is expected to be a closely contested championship match.

The colourful ceremony featured performances by leading artists, including Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, and Arif Lohar, while Aima Baig and the Sabri Brothers also delivered performances that attracted strong applause from spectators.

A spectacular fireworks display lit up the stadium during the ceremony, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Aerial stunts and gymnastic performances were also showcased, entertaining the crowd ahead of the high-stakes final.

Senior officials, including Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, attended the event alongside former captain Zaheer Abbas and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram, who brought the PSL trophy onto the stage.

Members of the PCB governing board and several former players were also present at the ceremony.

Organisers announced that the PSL 11 champions will receive a prize of 140 million rupees, while the runners-up will be awarded 80 million rupees.
