Dengue claims another life in Islamabad

Dengue fever has claimed another life in Islamabad taking the death toll to 15 in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
As many as 98 new cases of dengue patients were registered in Islamabad including 78 from rural areas and 20 from urban areas.
Islamabad DHO said that so far 3,035 people are infected with dengue fever in the federal capital.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 267 new cases of dengue fever were registered taking the tally to 7,253 cases across the province, however, 255 people also completely recovered from the dengue. The death toll stood at eight in KP.
Resolution in PA
PML-N MPA Sadia Teymour submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly demanding a probe into the death of a young dengue patient.
Musa Asad (8) was undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital in Lahore but died. His death must be investigated, the MPA demanded.
“Dengue has spread rapidly in the province and has reached at alarming levels: Dengue reported in Lahore has now exceeded 11,000 patients, however, the actual number is much higher,” the resolution stated.
