Prime Minister Imran Khan is in actions to FATF bills approved after these could not sail through the opposition-dominated upper house of the parliament.

The premier issued directives to making arrangement for a joint session of the parliament next week while a majority of lawmakers pointed to rain-rehab activities being supervised by the public reps in their constituencies.

PM Khan called a meet of senators and other key figures of allied parties today before the joint session.  As per the 18th Amendment, a bill passed by one house of parliament is rejected by the other, can become law after sailing through a joint sitting.

Briefing a PM-led meeting a few days ago, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi said getting out of the grey list is a priority

Imran said the laws will be made at all costs as the country needed so. He came down hard on the opposition, saying they are protecting their money they have nothing to do with public service. Imran directed his ruling team to expose the opposition’s role in creating hurdles to lawmaking.
