An accountability court has rejected the plea of former Baluchistan chief minister Aslam Raisani and his brother Haji Lashkar Raisani against a NAB reference, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The Raisani brothers and six other persons have been accused of being involved in Rs817 million corruption, costing notational exchequer dear.
The court of Allah Dad Roshan rejected their plea, observing that the accused's counsel arguments have nothing to do with the law.
The Balochistan chapter of the accountability bureau filed the reference after getting approval from the chairman, Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.
