The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Multan has foiled an attempt to travel to Liberia on tampered visas and offloaded two passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to FIA spokesperson, Naveed Ali and Asmatullah Khan were travelling on flight number FZ-326.

On detailed examination of the mobile phones, original Liberian visas were recovered from the mobile phones of the passengers, in which the purpose of travel was stated as business while the documents presented showed work.

According to the initial investigation, the passengers allegedly tampered with the visa category in connivance with the agents.

According to the initial statement, the passengers obtained the said visas from the agent.

The passengers were handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Multan for further investigation and legal action.
