Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz on Monday accused Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi of ransacking the assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and candidate for the slog of chief ministership in Punjab, Hamza Shehbaz said the constitution and law are being toyed with.

Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri ruled against the constitution and law, said Hamza Shehbaz, adding that many years have passed since the Presidency became a factory of ordinances.

Hamza lambasted the PTI-led government and said that when it was sensing defeat yesterday, the meeting was adjourned in six minutes.

Opposition members were attacked at Punjab Assembly yesterday, claimed Hamza Shehbaz. He said the trend of taking bribery in Punjab has increased.

Hamza said that he is not interested to become the Chief Minister of Punjab. The exchanges were made at the request of Imran Khan, Hamza added.
