US dollar sees another 18 paisas increase against Pak rupee
The US dollar continues its upward trend against Pakistan rupee as it increased by 18paisas Tuesday in the inter-bank trade.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the US dollar was being traded for Rs167.64 at the end of the business hours. It means dollar saw an increase of 66paisas in inter-bank trade during the first two days of the month of August.
Euro also gained 25paisas against Pakistan rupee and was being traded at Rs197.41. However, the British pound lost 68paisas against Pakistan rupee and was being traded at Rs218.75.
According to the Exchange Companies Association, the US dollar gained 85paisas to be sold at Rs167.20 in the open market.
Euro was up by Rs2.5 in the open market and was being sold for Rs197.50 whereas British pound was also increased by Rs2 and was being traded for Rs219.
