Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said if JUI-F supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman takes part in the Senate election himself his anger will subside, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media at Sheikh Rashid Waqar Al-Nisa Girls College in Rawalpindi on Thursday, Sh Rasheed predicted that the 11-party opposition alliance PDM will not go beyond the long march.
The Interior Minister said that he will respond to Pakistan Democratic Movement decisions on Friday (tomorrow).
It is pertinent to note that PDM bigwigs are meeting to chalk out the future course of action and long march plans against the incumbent movement.
“Opposition is expected not to lose its sanity on taking a decision about Senate elections,” Sh Rasheed said.

He reminded that PPP and PML-N have signed for open balloting in the Charter of Democracy. “Those who are still insisting on resignations should have reviewed their decision. Democracy is empowered through dialogues instead of closing doors for negotiations,” he said.
Sheikh Rasheed suggested Maulana Fazlur Rehman that he should take part in the Senate elections. He also congratulated Bakhtawar Bhutto on her marriage.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to eliminate vote trading in the country and the lawmakers should have the courage to participate in the voting process via open ballot.
