Pakistani singer Sajjad Ali took to Instagram on December 26 and shared a video singing his song ‘Ab K Hum Bichare’ after stating that listening to new movie songs reminded him of one of his oldies.

His fans found similarities between his song and the Bollywood movie ‘Pathaan’s Besharam Rang’, though he did not say this.

Sajjad Ali shared another video on Instagram to clear his stance.

“First of all, I didn’t say that anyone copied me I just said I remembered my old song when I was listening to new songs nowadays. I don’t care about small things music is the thing which every singer sang in his own tune it didn’t mean copy.

"Secondly, “People said to me that to achieve cheap publicity I did this but I am a popular person I don’t want to do such things to achieve publicity. Alhamdulillah, I have many fans in the world I am not interested in such controversies I only talk about my music. He said that in the 90s his songs were fully copied but he didn’t say anything that time so why now I should say something like that?

"Thirdly, some social users wrote that I copied Mehdi Hassan’s Ghazal which is not Mehdi Hasan’s Ghazal but it’s Ahmad Faraz’s Ghazal. People don’t understand this because art had been diminished from people’s minds.

Kindly take it easy guys and enjoy the music there is no need to fight."
