15 seriously injured as Suzuki pickup overturns near Sajawal Saidpur

A serious traffic accident occurred near Sajawal Saidpur on Sunday when a Suzuki pickup overturned, leaving fifteen people, including women and children, seriously injured.

According to rescue sources, the accident was caused by a tyre burst, which made the vehicle lose control and overturn. The victims, all reportedly labourers returning home from work at Solangi Stop, were trapped in the overturned vehicle.

Rescue teams and police rushed to the scene immediately after the incident. The injured were transported to Civil Hospital Sajawal for treatment. Four women, Maryam, Julie, Sawira, and Khatu, were in critical condition and were promptly referred to Karachi for specialised medical care. Other injured include Rozina, Khatu, Naseeman, Nazir, Aslam, Khanu, along with several others.

Rescue officials confirmed that women and children were among the injured and are receiving medical attention. The police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
