Salman Khan’s nephew Ayaan Agnihotri gets engaged to Tina Rijhwani
Ayaan Agnihotri, the son of Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and her husband Atul Agnihotri, has announced his engagement to Tina Rijhwani.
The couple shared the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, posting a series of photos capturing the festive occasion.
In the images, Ayaan and Tina embraced as they celebrated the engagement.
Tina also showcased her ring in a solo shot, while Ayaan planted a kiss on her cheek against a backdrop of firecrackers. Another picture showed the couple in prayer, and Ayaan even shared a nostalgic throwback of them together.
He captioned the post with a playful nod to the past: "Leaving my girlfriend behind in 2025 ❤️????"
Fans and celebrities were quick to react. Malaika Arora commented, "Yaaaaaaaniiiiiiii, tinaaaaa ❤️❤️", while Sonakshi Sinha wrote, "Omg omg omg omg I cannnnnt!!!!!" Zaheer Iqbal added, "Broooooooo, congratulations, guys, so so happy for u both."
Ayaan, who comes from Bollywood royalty, has carved out a career as a musician, unlike his sister Alizeh, who debuted in acting with Farrey to critical acclaim.
Salman Khan previously collaborated with him on the song You Are Mine, composed by Vishal Mishra, with Ayaan performing the rap portions. He has also released his single Universal Laws and is currently working on his own EP.
Despite his famous lineage, it took Ayaan eight years to release his music professionally.
In a previous interview, he explained: "I kept my writing and music very confidential because even though I had a fond passion for it, I didn't feel that I was there yet. I knew I sounded bad, and my accent was heavier. It didn't sound appropriate for the format. I knew my delivery wasn't as good, and my breath control wasn't great. There was a lot of scope for improvement. If I'm going to go out there and tell everybody that this is what I'm going to do, then I'd better be good at it, and that's why it was eight years of just refining."
The engagement marks a joyful milestone for the Agnihotri family, with Ayaan balancing personal happiness and a growing music career in the public eye.
