Imran Khan unnecessary part of country’s politics: Fazlur Rehman

PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Imran Khan has no importance as he is an unnecessary part of the country’s politics, reported 24News HD TV channel on Sunday.

Addressing the PDM power show in Swat Sunday, Fazl said that Imran Khan was not called to attend the meeting of National Security Committee’s meeting which showed he was not important even after coming into power.

He said PM Imran Khan talked against the US and UK just to use popular narrative. Imran Khan said they will not give Pakistan bases to the US, he said and added that “Who ask you for the bases? They (US) asked the country’s air space and which you have already given them. Please at least don’t like to the nation.”

Fazl said that Imran Khan’s ousting time had come. “We are determined to oust the illegitimate government from the country,” he said. He further said the government’s ship was sinking.

The PDM chief said that today Imran Khan was talking against Pervez Musharraf but he had supported him in the referendum.

Fazl said that the wrong policies of the incumbent government could widen the gap between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He said that the US was withdrawing from Afghanistan after the defeat.

Fazl said that we have to move forward towards a democratic and constitutional future. He said that the enthusiasm of the people had not diminished and they were still enthusiastic. Such slavery cannot be imposed on free people.
