Police have arrested yet another person who was involved in incidents of violence on May 9, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Uncle of Haider Mehmood, the miscreant, on the other hand, has denounced his nephew’s role in May 9 riots, saying attack on the GHQ amounted to an attack on Pakistan. “Any attack either on the GHQ or any other such building is intolerable,” he has said, adding, “No political party is a match for the Pakistan Army.”

He has asked former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan how on earth he assumed that the people of Pakistan could turn against their own army.

Thousands of people lost their temper and took to streets to vent their anger at the arrest of Imran Khan in Islamabad.

They vandalized government and military buildings and also damaged memorials of martyrs of the Pakistan Army.
