Kerosene oil price hiked by Rs4 per litre

The government of Pakistan has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.09 per litre, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The new price of kerosene oil is now set at Rs231.14 per litre, according to the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

According to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the previous price of kerosene oil was Rs227.05 per litre, which has now increased to Rs231.14 per litre. This means the price has gone up by Rs4.09 per litre.

The government has also reduced the price of petrol and diesel by Rs1.97.

As per the new official notification released by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs1.97 per litre, and the diesel price has also been reduced by Rs1.97 per litre.

The new petroleum prices are Rs297.53 per litre for petrol, and that of diesel has been set at Rs309.50 per litre.

Changes in the prices of kerosene and other petroleum products are generally based on trends in the international market, the exchange rate of the US dollar, and fluctuations in import costs.
