Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader and Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul plans to introduce a big package for the students under which each student, planting 20 samplings, will get 20 additional marks in exams.
Talking to 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday, Zartaj Gul said she would soon table a bill in the National Assembly after approval of the package from Prime Minister Imran Khan.
She said due to sluggishness and non-cooperation on the part of the provincial governments because of several reasons, the target set under PM Imran’s 10 Billion Tree Project could not be met as only one billion trees had been planted so far.
“However, the good news is that finally we have been able to take all provincial governments on board, and it was hoped that the project would soon pick up,” she informed.
