Sindh Apex Committee reviews security situation

The 33rd meeting of the Apex Committee was held under the chair of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister's House which was attended by the Provincial Interior Minister, Corps Commander Karachi and top civil and military leadership.

The meeting reviewed the security situation, the loss of precious lives in Karachi after the US and Israel's attack on Iran. 

The committee gave instructions to concerned department to ensure the safety of foreign nationals.

Sindh CM directs that coordinated operations against terrorism, organized crime, land mafia and illegal weapons should continue. 

The body was briefed on prevention of street crime and return of 278,816 illegal immigrants. 

Sindh Chief Minister directed that Sindh Forensic Science Laboratory should be completed by December 2026 as Forensic Laboratory will enhance investigative capabilities.
