Woman flees after killing her husband in Bahawalpur

A woman brutally murdered her husband due to domestic affairs and later buried him in the courtyard of her home and escaped from the scene in Bahawalpur, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Monday.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Baghdad-al-Jadeed area of Bahawalpur.

As per the first information report (FIR), the accused, who was later identified as Bashiran Bibi, was living with her husband, Abdul Majeed, for the last thirty years.

The FIR further stated that the woman killed her husband after torturing him severely.

The brother-in-law of the deceased Ghulam Hussain said that the woman’s character was bad. 

Station House Officer (SHO) Faisal Amin said that the murder took place one week ago, and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
