The suspension of the water supply at the Sindh Secretariat has forced the provincial government officers to purchase water tankers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

At a time when the people of Karachi are already yearning for water, the situation in Sindh Secretariat is no different either.

It is pertinent to mention here that mafias exist in the port city which stock water and then sell it to consumers at exorbitant rates.

During the monsoon season, the situation in terms of water shortage is exactly the opposite when streets and even main roads are under knee-deep water. But still, that water is of no use.
