Karachi police arrest coach driver over teenager’s death in road accident

Karachi police have arrested a coach driver for allegedly hitting and killing an 18-year-old youth in the Korangi area with the help of CCTV footage, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

According to a spokesperson for Korangi District Police, Abdul Qadeer was killed after being struck by a passenger coach on Darul Uloom Road in Murtaza Town.

Following the fatal accident, police reviewed CCTV footage to trace the vehicle involved in the incident.

After identifying the coach, officers tracked it down and arrested its driver, Amir Khan.

Police also took the coach into custody for further investigation.

The arrested driver has been handed over to the Awami Colony investigation police for further questioning and legal proceedings.
