Gold prices hit a new record in Pakistan
The gold prices continued a trend to go up and hit a new record on Wednesday following the dollar’s heavy pressure on Pakistani currency.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the yellow metal is almost going out of reach for the majority of Pakistan masses as it saw another increase of Rs2,500 per tola on Wednesday.
According to the All Pakistan jewellers Association, the price of 24-Karat gold reached an all-time high of Rs217000 per tola after seeing an increase of Rs2500 per tola.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold decreased by $41 and was being traded for $2,023.
It is pertinent to mention here that yesterday also the prices of gold had increased by Rs5,600 per tola.
