Doctor who ‘harassed’ female colleague in Multan suspended

Nishtar Medical University vice-chancellor (VC) has suspended Ward 23 Head of Department (HOD) Dr. Azam Mushtaq for allegedly harassing a lady doctor at Nishtar Hospital, Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the notification issued on Saturday, the doctor was suspended so that the transparency of the investigation into the claims made by the female doctor against Dr. Mushtaq could be ensured.
Professor Dr. Zafar Iqbal was made the Pulmonology Department head in place of Dr. Mushtaq.
A lady doctor had on March 31 registered a complaint against the doctor in which she accused him of harassing her.
