Thousands launch 2nd week of pro-EU protests in Georgia
Thousands rallied in Georgia on Thursday for a second week of pro-EU protests, hours after the prime minister threatened to "eradicate" the country's "liberal-fascist" opposition amid a post-election crisis.
Several thousand people gathered outside the parliament building, the eight consecutive night of protests, some holding signs reading "your repression will finish you" -- a reference to the government's response to the demonstrations, an AFP reporter witnessed.
