Nawaz Sharif praises PM Shehbaz, Punjab CM Maryam for ‘doing great job’ 

Former prime minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that a reduction in the inflation rate indicated that the country’s economic situation was improving, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Talking to the members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs) from Gujranwala, Narowal and Sialkot districts, who met with him and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the former prime minister said that the bullish trend being witnessed in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) these days was proof of the investors’ confidence. “The increasing speed at which the country is now progressing is a positive sign,” he added.  

He went on to say that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was working very hard at the Center while Maryam was doing a great job in Punjab.   

The MPAs, on the occasion, paid tributes to the chief minister for carrying out development projects in the province. 

Addressing Nawaz, they said that he must be proud of his daughter who was a brave and a competent woman.

The MPAs further said that Maryam had introduced projects for all segments of the society during the past one year and had earned praise for that.
