New Zealand cricket team reaches Pakistan for tri-nation ODI series
New Zealand cricket team arrived in Lahore early Wednesday morning to participate in a tri-nation one-day international (ODI) series, which is due to get underway a few days from now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The team was taken from the Allama Iqbal International Airport to the hotel in tight security.
Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchel, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway and Lockie Ferguson are included in the squad.
The visitors will have a practice session at the Qaddafi Stadium on February 6 and will face the hosts on February 8 at the same venue.
After having done with the tri-nation series, the Kiwis will participate in the Champions Trophy, scheduled to commence on February 19.
The ODI series, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa, is set to commence on Saturday (February 8). The four-match series will be hosted in Karachi and Lahore.
