Man climbs electricity pole with knife in Multan

A 25-year-old man climbed an electricity pole on Public School Road, Multan, causing concern among residents and prompting an emergency response, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

According to the 1122 Rescue Multan spokesperson, the young man was seen standing on the pole while holding a knife.

Rescue teams and other relevant authorities reached the scene soon after receiving information.

Officials said that no demands or motives have so far been communicated by the man.

Efforts are currently underway to bring him down safely from the electricity pole.
