Renowned Pakistani singer and politician Abrar ul Haq has set social media abuzz after making a light hearted remark about television host and journalist Iqrar ul Hassan during a television appearance.
The singer appeared on the show ‘Public Demand’, where he engaged in a candid and humorous conversation that quickly caught the attention of viewers online.
During the discussion, Abrar jokingly linked leadership qualities with marital management, drawing laughter from the audience while referencing Iqrar ul Hassan's widely discussed personal life.
“Anyone who can manage three wives might also be able to manage a nation,” Abrar quipped. “Marriage is a political relationship, and managing a wife is an entire science. It should be taught as an academic subject. If you can manage one wife, that's a good achievement. If you can manage two, that's even more impressive. But if you can manage three wives, then you certainly deserve a PhD.”
Continuing in a humorous tone, he added, “Someone once said that behind every successful man stands a woman. Although another person replied that it's not necessarily his own wife. But if someone has three wives, then perhaps that is the secret behind his success.”
