Armed men loot 12 sacks of tea from truck in Karachi

Armed men allegedly looted 12 sacks of tea from a goods truck in the area of police post near Ruknpur in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to police, armed men allegedly stopped the truck and unloaded the goods.
The driver managed to catch one of the looters and handed over to the police while the other accused managed to escape from the scene.
The New Sarhad Karachi Goods Transport Company suffered financial losses due to the robbery and it demanded a transparent investigation into the incident.
The affected company also demanded legal action against the responsible elements.
The transport sector has also demanded effective security measures.
