Federal govt decides to legislate for setting up commercial courts

Federal government has decided to legislate for establishment of commercial courts in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a committee to legislate for establishment of commercial courts.

An eight-member committee headed by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar will prepare a draft for the legislation.

The committee includes Attorney General Mansoor Usman and Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kiyani.

The Federal Law Secretary will also be a member of the committee.

The committee will submit its report to the Prime Minister within 45 days.
