Govt slashes petrol price by Rs4 per litre, diesel rate remains unchanged
The federal government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs4 per litre while keeping the price of high-speed diesel unchanged, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
The reduction marks the fourth consecutive adjustment, providing relief to consumers amid recent declines in international oil prices.
Recent weekly revisions have already lowered fuel costs for motorists and transport operators.

According to the notification, the price of petrol fell to Rs376 per litre from the Rs 381.78, while the price of high-speed diesel is remained unchanged at Rs380 per litre.
The revised rates will come into force from midnight.
