Massive fire destroys Khairpur village

Over 40 homes were reduced to ashes when a fire ripped through Mithu Islami, a suburban village of Faiz Gang, in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Residents of the area said that due to the failure of the fire brigade vehicles to reach the site on time, the fire engulfed the entire village.
They added that strong winds fanned the flames.
Police, on the other hand, said that there were also reports of several animals perishing in the incident.
However, no loss of life was reported; the Force informed.
