Mohsin Naqvi to arrive in Qatar today

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will reach Qatar today on the second phase of his official visit to the Gulf region, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

During his stay in Qatar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi will hold detailed meetings with high-official of Qatari government.

Mohsin Naqvi will also apprise Qatari leadership about principal stand of Pakistan over amid heated tension between arch-rivals Pakistan and India.

Earlier on May 4, 2025, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Muscat Oman on a one-day official visit.

Senior officials of Oman’s interior ministry and Pakistan’s ambassador in the country Syed Naveed Safdar Bukhari welcomed the minister at the airport. 

Later, in a meeting with Oman’s Interior Secretary Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud, Naqvi said that Pakistan wanted to increase cooperation with Oman to stop narcotics and human smuggling.
