PTI calls upon govt to convene all parties conference on Pakistan-India conflict

The parliamentary party of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), which met in Islamabad on Monday, called upon the government to convene an all parties conference to discuss the growing Pakistan-India tensions.

The PTI said in its declaration after the meeting that all political leaders including the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan should be invited to the all parties conference.

Members of PTI’s parliamentary party expressed their no-confidence in the judiciary and warned that the gulf between the judiciary and the people of Pakistan was widening at an alarming pace. They said that measures should be taken to restore the respect and dignity of the chief justice of Pakistan. They said the PTI would represent the people of Pakistan and voice their concerns at every forum, including the National Assembly.

The parliamentary party condemned the Pahalgam false flag operation and said the PTI was against terrorism anywhere in the world. It said that thousands of Pakistanis have lost their lives in terror attacks, adding that Indian allegations of Pakistan’s involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack are completely baseless. It said that India in fact wanted to scrap the Indus Rivers System water distribution agreement.
