Mother, three children found dead in suspected suicide case in Multan

A suspected suicide incident involving a woman and her three children was reported in the jurisdiction of Mumtazabad police station in Multan on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to police officials, a woman allegedly killed her three children by hanging them from a ceiling fan before taking her own life by hanging herself from a roof beam.

Rescue teams and police from Mumtazabad police station reached the scene shortly after the incident was reported.

The bodies were shifted for medico-legal formalities.

Police officials said initial information suggests a case of suspected murder-suicide, but the exact circumstances are still under investigation.

“We are investigating the matter and will bring the facts before the public soon,” police said, adding that multiple aspects of the case were being examined.
