Four killed as locals repel Indian-sponsored terrorist attack in Balochistan
Two terrorists injured in Korki: One civilian martyred and two injured: Clash began after militants refused to vacate the area
The people of Balochistan once again stood as a shield against hostile elements, as a group of India-backed militants attacked peaceful residents in the Korki area of the province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the sources, a fierce exchange of fire erupted between local tribes and the militants, leaving four terrorists dead and two injured.
During the armed confrontation, one member of the local tribe was martyred, while two others sustained injuries and have been shifted to the hospital.
The clash reportedly began after militants refused repeated requests from tribal elders to vacate the area.
In view of the militants’ “nefarious intentions”, the tribal community decided to defend their land and repel the attackers.
Local elders hailed the courage of residents who fought back to protect their families and property, saying the people of Balochistan had once again “become an iron wall against the enemies of peace.”
DG ISPR holds interactive session with students in BUITEMS Quetta
Meanwhile, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) in Quetta.
During his visit, the DG ISPR held an interactive session with students and faculty members, discussing the professional role and contributions of the Pakistan Army.
Students described the session as encouraging and enlightening, expressing a desire for more such interactions in the future. They also praised the Pakistan Army’s sacrifices and successes in the battle for national stability and peace.
