Pakistan Investment Bonds worth Rs654.3 billion sold at auction, says SBP

The government has auctioned off Rs654.3 billion worth of Pakistan Investment Bonds, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced in a press release on Friday.

According to the SBP, the government sold Rs46 billion worth of two-year bonds. It said that cut-off yield of two-year bonds had increased by 11 basis points to 11.1973 percent.

The government sold Rs8 billion worth of three-year bonds. The cut-off yield of three-year bonds remained at 11.14 percent.

Also, the government sold Rs115 billion worth of five-year bonds. The cut-off yield of five-year bonds was 11.439 percent.

Moreover, the government sold Rs207 billion worth of 10-year bonds. The cut-off yield of the 10-year bond fell by 11 basis points to 12.04 percent.

And last but not the least, the government sold 15-year bonds worth Rs280 billion. The cut-off yield of the 15-year bond fell by 7 basis points to 12.38 percent.
