Nawaz Sharif stops govt to 'Hajj Lottery' in Pakistan
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has stopped his party government to hold Hajj Lottery in Pakistan this year, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Thursday.
According to the channel report, former premier Mian Nawaz Sharif has instructed the Shehbaz-led government to send all pilgrims to the Holy Hijaz without drawing a Hajj Lottery this year.
The channel reported that following the instructions of the ruling PML-N supremo, Pakistan will not draw lots for Hajj applications for 2023.
Pertinent to mention here that only 46,000 pilgrims from Pakistan were allowed to avail the opportunity of offering Hajj through the lottery in 2023 but now, under the new policy and instructions of the ruling PML-N supremo, all 72,000 applications have been accepted for Hajj.
