Mianwali Express derails again near Khushab

Three bogies of the Mianwali Express were again derailed near Khushab on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, the incident occurred at the same place where some bogies of the Mianwali Express were derailed two days ago.

No loss of life was reported from the site of the incident so far. Railway officials said that repair work on the railway track is underway and traffic will be restored soon.

Earlier on April 2, 2026, two bogies of the Mianwali Express, heading from Lahore to Mianwali, derailed near Mujahid Colony.

Railway officials from Sargodha said that all passengers were safe and that the train would soon leave for its destination.

They informed that arrangements had been made to shift the passengers to other bogies.
