Two killed in Kharian road accident 

A father and his daughter lost their lives when their car collided with a dumper in Kharian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The accident occurred near the Jalalpur Jattan area near Kharian. The deceased was a resident of Bhimber. The dumper driver fled the scene after the incident.

Soon after receiving the report, police and rescue personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the deceased to the hospital for autopsy.

Earlier in July 2026, a man was killed after a speeding car overturned near Bismillah Chowk in Kharian.

According to Rescue 1122, the vehicle was traveling towards Rawalpindi when the driver reportedly lost control due to overspeeding, causing it to overturn. The victim sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Ali, 34, son of Muhammad Aslam, resident of Tehal village, Kharian. Rescue officials shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital.
