NAB summons Punjab CM Buzdar
According to the TV channel, the summon was in connection with the illegal issuance of wine licences. The chief minister has been asked to appear in the NAB Lahore offices on August 12.
Usman Buzdar is not the only chief minister to be summoned by the anti-graft body.
Earlier Wednesday, Chief Minister Buzdar travelled to Islamabad in a special plane.
Earlier Sindh Chief Minister had been at the NAB offices for several times. He last appeared before the NAB about a month ago to answer 28 queries of the anti-graft watchdog’s investigation officers in fake bank accounts and Roshan Programme corruption cases.
The NAB has accused that several companies had won contracts worth billions of rupees for the Roshan Sindh project by paying bribes.
Murad Ali Shah was re-summoned on July 8 after he had excused himself from appearing before the Bureau.
