Retired Sub Inspector sacrifices life to save child from train

A retired sub-inspector of police Friday sacrificed his life to save the life of a child who was about to be hit by a train in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The retired police officer saved the life of the child from the train but could not save himself and was martyred after hitting the train.
According to the eyewitnesses, the retired SI Muhammad Siddique was hit by the train when he saved a child who was on the track and was about to be hit by the train.
The Ravi Road police have handed over the body of the martyred to his relatives after legal formalities. He will be buried in his parental village in Sheikhupura.
However, the police failed to locate the child who was saved by the retired police officer at the cost of his own life on Friday morning.
