FIA Lahore zone busts five human traffickers

FIA Lahore region arrested five human smugglers on Wednesday, who were involved in Greece ship accident in 2023, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The arrested culprits were identified as Sibtain Abbas, Bilal Ahmed, Wasim Azam, Muhammad Riaz and Amir Farooq. The accused were arrested from different areas of Lahore and Sheikhupura. 

The accused Sabteen Abbas trapped a citizen for an Italian work visa and scammed Rs 17 lakh. He tried to smuggle the citizen illegally from Libya to Italy on a ship. 

13 passports were also recovered from their possession.
