Imran Khan gives another protest call on August 14: Aleema Khan
Founder says PTI will not field candidates in by-elections as lawmakers were disqualified illegally. Slaman Akram Raja says judiciary compromised after 26th amendments
Aleema Khan has claimed that PTI founder Imran Khan said that PTI will not field candidates in by elections as PTI lawmakers were disqualified illegally, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Talking to media outside Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, Aleema Khan said Uzma Khan was allowed to meet Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
She said Imran Khan has given protest call on August 14 and directed PTI leaders and workers to come out of their houses to register protests.
PTI founder urged party workers to give sacrifices for the freedom. Imran Khan said the people should stand up for real freedom. Imran Khan said the rule of law has ended in the country. Aleema said Imran Khan was happy about the protest call despite severe hindrances by the government. Imran Khan said past dictators had not done such injustices which were being meted out by the current government. Imran Khan said freedom of the media has been choked.
Imran Khan also directed KP government to stop operation which was creating hate feeling against the government.
PTI lawyer Salman Safdar has said that during the hearing of Tosha Khan, he was allowed at the start of the hearing while media and family of the accused were not allowed to enter the court.
PTI lawyer Salman Safdar said court admitted their point that this was not an open trial. He said PTI will boycott the case hearing if the open trial was not allowed. He said later court put off the hearing of the case.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja said that judiciary has been controlled after 26th constitutional amendments and now trial of the cipher case is illegal and unconstitutional.
