Police character certificate must for UAE work visa 

Pakistanis seeking work visas for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are required to present a police character certificate.

The Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BEOE) has mandated that all Protectorate Employees (PEs) secure the certificate from prospective emigrants as a prerequisite for their protector registration, according to an official directive.

"A directive requires a Police Character Certificate from individuals intending to emigrate to the UAE before proceeding with protector registration," read an official directive.

This measure aims to enhance security and protect the reputation of Pakistanis working abroad, as Islamabad and Abu Dhabi collaborate to implement stricter regulations to deter illegal activities.

The directive added Overseas Employment Promoters (OEPs) to ensure swift compliance, emphasizing the importance of widespread dissemination of the requirement to all stakeholders.

The UAE remains a top destination for job seekers due to its thriving economy, tax-free income, and vibrant cosmopolitan lifestyle. Renowned for iconic landmarks such as Dubai's Burj Khalifa and Abu Dhabi's cultural heritage, the Gulf nation attracts millions of workers, tourists, and investors each year.
