'We rely on EMS system and stand ready for fair elections: ECP secretary

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Secretary Asif Hussain has reiterated the ECP's reliance on the Election Management System (EMS) and urged the public to trust in their capabilities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In an exclusive conversation with 24 News at the control room in the central secretariat of the ECP, he highlighted the repeated use of EMS, which has proven instrumental in conducting free and fair elections.  

Secretary Asif Hussain emphasized the Commission's commitment to transparency and efficiency in the electoral process.

The Secretary informed that control rooms have been established in all districts, divisions, and provinces to address any complaints or concerns.

He underlined the accessibility of a 25-line helpline for forwarding complaints via email and WhatsApp, ensuring that the ECP remains fully responsive to the needs and feedback of the electorate.

Assuring prompt action, Hussain stated that the ECP is dedicated to resolving all complaints promptly.

He underscored the Commission's close coordination with provincial governments and district administrations to guarantee security measures and smooth transportation arrangements for the electoral process.
